Norie’s at 114 life, and you won’t be able to deal a lot of damage to her before she can untap her Sands of Delirium. Fortunately, you have an alternate means of victory at your disposal, in the form of Rot Wolf. You’ll just need to get it past her blockers…
- Tap six forests and a Llanowar Reborn to add (two used as generic mana) to your mana pool.
- Spend to cast the Howling Wolf. Search your library for the other three copies of Howling Wolf and place them in your hand.
- Tap Wyluli Wolf to give your Rot Wolf +1/+1 until end of turn. Rot Wolf is now a 3/3 creature.
- Tap Timber Wolves to cast Gather Courage on your Rot Wolf, giving it +2/+2 until end of turn. Rot Wolf is now a 5/5 creature.
- Activate Master of the Wild Hunt’s ability targeting itself. You tap all untapped wolves you control (Wolf token, Rot Wolf, Howling Wolf) to deal a total of 9 damage to the Master of the Wild Hunt. Master of the Wild Hunt deals 11 damage among those wolves. Choose to deal the 11 damage to the wolf token.
- Both Master of the Wild Hunt and the wolf token die. Rancor returns from your graveyard to your hand.
- Because Rot Wolf dealt damage to a creature that died this turn, you may draw a card. Draw the last card in your library, which is Burst of Strength.
- Spend to cast Scent of Ivy on your Rot Wolf, revealing five green cards (three Howling Wolf, Burst of Strength, Rancor) and giving it +5/+5 until end of turn. Rot Wolf is now a tapped 10/10 creature.
- Spend to cast Burst of Strength on your Rot Wolf, untapping it and giving it a +1/+1 counter. Rot Wolf is now an 11/11 creature.
- Spend to cast Rancor on your Rot Wolf. Rot Wolf is now a 13/11 creature with trample.
- Declare the start of your combat phase, assigning your Rot Wolf to attack.
- Norie can assign as many as all three of her soldier tokens to block the Rot Wolf, but your Rot Wolf will still deal at last 10 damage to her via trample, giving her 10 poison counters and defeating her.
